A Vehicle Security Professional, or VSP, is a technician who has been formally verified by NASTF to perform security-sensitive automotive procedures. VSP credentials provide full access to OEM security functions — programming keys, retrieving immobilizer codes, ordering theft-related parts, and conducting procedures that require direct manufacturer database access.

VSP vs. AIR: What's the Difference?

The AIR tier gives a technician access to remote reprogramming sessions through a certified provider — they don't need a VSP account themselves. VSP is for technicians who need to access OEM data directly: key codes, immobilizer codes, security parts orders.
