J2534 is an SAE standard that lets PC-based OEM software communicate with a vehicle's ECUs through a compliant hardware interface — without being hardwired to a dealer network.
Do I need internet in the shop?
Yes — wired ethernet is strongly preferred. WiFi works but increases the risk of a dropped session mid-flash.
Can you reprogram a used module from a donor vehicle?
In most cases yes. Used modules may need a VIN rewrite, parameter reset, or security relearn. We handle all of it.
Do you cover imports?
